Is it bad that I want to go back to work right now for the sole reason of free air conditioning? I have decided every morning/afternoon, when I realize I have to go to work and I make that little "Unnnghh, I don't wanna," thing, that I will remember one little thing about work to get me excited about going:
A/C.
I am freaking melting right now, and my computer is not making the situation any more tolerable. Why? Because it is a Beast(notice the capital B, thank you) and is fully capable of turning into nothing but a space heater.
Space heater(*cough* comp *cough*) + 96 degrees and 100% humidity = Puddle O' Jes...Which will make sleeping interesting, because I literally can not sleep when I am over-heated.
Even the cats are hot. Savvi keeps looking at me with a look of sorrow and dramatically flopping onto the floor, as if I didn't see her doing it the first 6 times, and maybe if she does it again, I'll point the fan at her. But no, no I will not, because it is my fan, and you can't have it, fuzzball!!
*puts ice cubes down shirt* ahhh.....
I feel your pain. I live in AZ, and surprisingly it hasn't been super hot YET. But here, this shit happens very suddenly. I wouldn't be surprised if tomorrow it's randomly 120.
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. But! AZ is dry heat. Here, it feels like you're trying to breathe underwater because of all the ridiculous humidity x_x
